The End of the Season 😥: Plans for Monday 2/8 & Tuesday 2/9

posted Feb 4, 2016, 9:38 AM by Sid Voss
It is the end of the season...and we finally got decent snow!  High School League rules say our team practices end this week; but you can keep skiing with friends and family.  Your Three Rivers pass is good until the snow melts.  If you have booster club skis, you may use them until the snow melts too.

Here is the information for this week.  If you have booster club skis, see the information below.

Monday, February 8.
Our last ski of the season with the team.
Bus to French Park.  Leave HHS at 3:10 pm and return 4:50.
Now that we have lots of natural snow, French is a great place to ski and maybe the Challenge Hill will be open!

Tuesday, February 9
This is our last practice, but no workout/skiing today.  We would like everyone to join us.  Here is the plan:
  • Arrive, put on uniform
  • Team pictures with everyone in uniform (3:10 pm)
  • Team Meeting
    • Turn in uniforms
    • Treats
    • Vote for next year's Captains
    • Congratulate our Section Team and our four skiers going to state: Claire Benton, Renae Anderson, Ellie Munger, and Kaelin Jackson.
Take your skis, poles, and ski bags home this week.  Do not leave your equipment in the wax room.

Booster Club Skis
You can return your Booster Club skis on Tuesday at the end of practice or keep them to ski with friends and family.

If you return your skis on Tuesday after practice:
  • Make sure your name is still on the skis or put a piece of tape on each ski with your name.
  • Give the skis to Mr. Voss and he will check off your name.
  • Do not just leave your booster club skis in the wax room
  • Take home your ski poles and ski bag.
If you are keeping your skis to continue skiing until the snow melts
